Join Us for the Conscious Parenting Group Next Round Starting Spring 2022
In this 8 week group series for parents and caregivers of children 10 years and younger, you can look forward to:
An automatic support system of other parents and caregivers who can relate to your stressors and concerns so that you feel less alone
Learning a different (and effective!) way to discipline your young child instead of continuously threatening to take away the Ipad
Increasing your ability to control your own emotions to be able to better support your young child
A confidential place to address your worries so that you can get all your questions answered without feeling judged
Weekly check-ins with a child mental health professional to address your family’s specific needs
Resources and handouts to support you in working on group topics outside of session
A guaranteed 60 minutes each week where you’ll feel productive and motivated so that you’re actually excited for your family’s future
The ability to commit to 60 minute virtual sessions for 8 weeks
Being a parent or caregiver to a child (or children) aged 10 or younger who can be challenging (don't listen, yell, kick, hit, and are disrespectful)
A desire to connect with other parents and caregivers experiencing similar challenges
Motivation to learn and practice an effective discipline strategy with your family
One payment of $500 or four payments of $125 per family

How much does this cost?
Total, you will be paying $500 for 8 60-minute sessions per family.
When are the meetings?
The next round will start Spring 2022. The official start date is TBD at this time. The sessions will occur virtually on Tuesday's at 5:00 pm.
Can my child attend the sessions?
Since we will be focusing on frustrations and difficulties as parents or caregivers, you will get the most out of sessions if your child is not in attendance. It is recommended that you find alternative childcare for your child during the session or, if possible, alternate which parent/caregiver attends the sessions in order for everyone to be on the same page.
Can my partner attend the sessions?
It is recommended that both partners attend sessions or, if possible, alternate which parent/caregiver attends the sessions in order for everyone to be on the same page and using the same strategies outside of sessions.

Kait is a is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, Child-Centered Play Therapist, and Infant Mental Health Specialist that specializes in working with young children and families that have experienced a high level of stress and trauma. Kait's goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment to children and their families in order to assist them in working towards their therapeutic goals.
